Live on Robinhood Chain · $BLGD
Your liquidity, covered until the opening bell.
Stock tokens trade all weekend. The stock market doesn't. Bellguard charges a small premium on swaps while the market is closed, and pays liquidity providers when the Monday gap hurts them.
How it works
One weekend, start to finish
Everything runs in a Uniswap v4 hook and three small contracts. No off-chain promises: the calendar, the premium and the payout rules are all on-chain.
Market closes
Minting and redeeming stop and the Chainlink stock feeds pause. Bellguard pools start charging a premium on each swap.
Premiums fill the vault
Premiums in USDG go to the cover vault. Underwriters earn them and can't withdraw while cover is live.
The gap is settled
A keeper settles each pool against the Chainlink price. That fixes what weekend trading cost liquidity providers.
LPs claim
Positions held through the weekend claim the loss above a 1% deductible, up to 5% of the position.

What weekends actually cost LPs
Every closed window since late July, rebuilt from Uniswap v3 swap logs on Robinhood Chain. Each dot is one pool on one weekend. The height is the gap at reopen; the colour shows whether LPs ended up or down, fees included.
| Pool | Weekends | LP lost | Net LP result | Worst weekend | Largest gap |
|---|
So far, weekend fees have outweighed gap losses and no gap reached 2%, so none of these weekends would have paid out. Bellguard is cover for the tail: rare, large reopen gaps such as earnings surprises. That's why the premium is low and the deductible sits at 1%.
Two sides of the cover
Provide liquidity, or underwrite it
Liquidity providers
Add liquidity to a Bellguard stock/USDG pool on Uniswap v4. You're covered automatically and pay nothing: weekend traders fund the cover.
- Keep the position unchanged from before the close until you claim.
- Your range must cover every price traded during the window.
- Claims open an hour after reopen and stay open for two days.
- Deductible
- 1% of position value
- Cap per window
- 5% of position value
- Reference price
- Chainlink, after reopen
Underwriters
Deposit USDG into the cover vault (bgUSDG, ERC-4626). Premiums from closed-market swaps raise the share price; claims lower it.
- Deposits are open any time.
- Withdrawals pause while the market is closed and for four days after reopen.
- One window can pay out at most 20% of the vault; larger claims are paid pro rata.

- Premium (closed)
